To maintain sound health, it's important to:
Incorporate physical activity into your daily routine, such as playing sports, joining yoga or swimming classes, or trekking with friends.
Follow the 20-20-20 rule to avoid digital eye strain: after 20 minutes of screen time, observe an object 20 feet away for 20 seconds.
Replace caffeine and soda intake with water to maintain sound mental functioning and avoid increased blood pressure.
Maintain a straight posture while sitting in a chair to prevent back issues.
Chunk up mental activity into smaller tasks with periods of relaxation in between to avoid brain fog.
Make a habit of shutting off from work mode and indulging in hobbies to avoid burnout.
Take a few minutes each day to appreciate yourself for your accomplishments.
Incorporating these small steps into your daily routine can significantly improve your mental and physical health as a software developer.
